Easy Peasy Egg Drop Soup


A soup recipe that you can make with your eyes closed?! Well, ok… half closed. This soup only takes 5-10 mins to make, and only 4 ingredients. 3 if you omit white pepper.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 cups chicken broth/stock
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 med tomato, cored and diced
  • 1/4 tsp ground white pepper

Bring stock to boil.

Add diced tomato, let it boil for 2-3 mins.

When the broth starts to be a little tinted like that.
Then add white pepper.

Slowly pour in your beaten egg and swirl/stir the broth with a chopstick/fork as you go along with the other hand. Once all the egg is in, turn off heat.

Garnish with parsley, and serve.
