Spiced Pork Cube Fried Rice

Yum

This is one of my guilty indulgence as it uses can spiced pork cube. I do not normally eat or use canned meat product except for this and corn beef. But this is so SO yummy, it’s that one thing that I refuse to give up! Well, everything in moderation right? You can get the canned spiced pork cube at any supermarket or if you are from a western country, any asian supermarket. It’s a quick and easy recipe.

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 2 cups of cooked rice (preferably a day left over)
  •  1 egg
  • 1 can spiced pork cube
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1 cup xiao bai chye, diced
  • 1 chilli padi, seeded & chopped (optional)
  • Light soy sauce to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp canola oil

Prep all the ingredients

Heat pan on med high with oil.
Stir-fry chilli, onion, and garlic until fragrant.

Add in pork cube (try your best not to add any of the sauce or oil.)

Push ingredients to the side and crack in an egg.
Scramble it.

Add in the rice and break it up with the spatula.

Mix well, then season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

Lastly, add the chopped xiao bai chye, and stir fry for a min or 2.

Garnish with parsley, and serve!

Bon appetit!!
